Annual 5K Family Walk/Run

Time: 9 am 5K Starts

LOCATION: Indian Island County Park spans 275 acres at the estuarine mouth of the Peconic River, offering year-round access to nature and recreation. The park is a popular destination for camping, with trailer and tent campsites available for individuals, groups, and camping clubs. Visitors can enjoy restroom and shower facilities for added comfort. Once an island, Indian Island is now connected to the mainland by a stunning white-sand causeway. This scenic area features picnic tables, grills, benches, and breathtaking views of Flanders Bay, making it one of the premier picnic spots in Suffolk County.

Directions

• Take LIE Exit 71
• Turn right onto Route 24 at the end of the exit ramp
• Follow Route 24 south through the Riverhead Traffic Circle
• Continue on Route 24 and turn left at the next traffic light onto Route 105
• Follow Route 105 to the park entrance on the right

Behavioral Health Services, Quannacut Addiction & Psychiatry, positioned within the framework of SBELIH’s broad-based treatment center, meet the complex challenges of each individual’s needs with a mission of providing hope and personal care to each patient that crosses our threshold.
