Peter J. Harold has a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration from C.W. Post/Long Island University. He has worn many hats over the years, including working for the New York State Department of Mental Hygiene. Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.
Additionally, he has been a Director of Staff Development & Training for the Borough of Queens, an Occupational Therapy Assistant, a Youth Counselor, a Communication Specialist for the United States Army Active Service and held many other positions throughout New York and Connecticut.
He received an Honorable Discharge from the Connecticut National Guard, and was a Counselor for Connecticut National Guard Youth Camp. In addition he has been a Big Brother for delinquent youths living at a correctional facility and a Vista Program Teacher for American Indians.
Mr. Harold is married with two children and three grandchildren and joined the ELIH Foundation because of his love of healthcare.
