The Annual Fall Fishing Showdown is a weekend of friendly competition, fabulous events, and fun, all for the benefit of your community hospital. A Captain’s Huddle kicks off the weekend, followed by the Tournament on Saturday and a Lobster Bash that evening. Prizes are awarded to the Top 3 Stripers and Top 3 Blues. Trophies will also be awarded to the top Sea Bass and Porgy catches.

Linda Sweeney of Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, Yvonne Lieblein of Port of Egypt Marine, and Dave Basile of the Annual Fall Fishing Showdown joined Gianna Volpe on WLIW-FM’s Heart of The East End to talk about the upcoming September tournament, now entering its seventh year.
